Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at teenager age. Along with BJJ She also took classes in boxing, wrestling and kickboxing. In the age of 18, she made her amateur debut at WCFC. Ladd took advantage of this win and then went on to a three-fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round in each fight. In WCFC, Ladd defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia Calvillo handed Aspen the win in a single-handed manner and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's amateur career. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff to improve her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen was a pro-fighter for the first time in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, and defeated her to secure a first-round TKO. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. She won the following match in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round Armbar submission. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to knock out McGill via TKO in the third-round (elbows & punches). Aspen took on Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. The fight was with Hoy with an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) because Ladd did not weigh in. Aspen still dominated Hoy to finish her in 2nd round via TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last fight for promotion. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks was a unanimous winner. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She faced Linalansberg during UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina with the ground and pound strategy, resulting in the TKO second-round victory. She continued her dominance and racked up an impressive victory in her next match against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd defeated Evinger within the first few seconds and received a bonus for her performance during the night. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee the fight was between Sijara-Eubanks in her debut fight. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous victory, and her Fight of the Night award came to each fighter. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya fell in the 3rd round at UFC 7 on ESPN. In her recent fight for the UFC she took on Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. She was beaten by a unanimous verdict.
